Rain and mud was present through the whole game. The Saints needed a win to get in the playoff - the CARDS had the 5th spot no matter what. Brandon Wohlrabe(2-55yds) caught a TD pass & Logan Peymann's kick made it 7-6 CARDS at the half. The Saints scored in the 3rd and 4th QTs when Paul Mallory(31-100yds) scored with 2:10 left. After Peymann's x-tra pt his onside kick was recovered by Jesse Walters. After catches by Chris Janssen(5-78yds) & Martin Tow(4-37yds) got the CARDS to the Saints 38 where Justin Hienrich's(12-30-181yds) 4th down pass fell incomplete with seconds left.
