two seeded, Class 3A ninth-ranked
Cardinals over the number one seeded,
seventh-ranked Belle Plaine Tigers 26-0.
RBs Chris Fausch and Derek Edman(14-75yds) added
one yard and 14 yard fourth-quarter TD
scores. The defense led by Tim Tow(two
sacks), Bailey Koppen, Nick Roggow, Luis
Figueroa and Fausch each with sacks held
the Tigers scoreless. Becker, Figueroa,
and Matt Lytle had fumble recoveries.
The Cardinals led 6-0 at the half. The
Cards put together time-consuming
scoring drives in the third and fourth
quarters to put the game away.
