Senior place kicker Rachel Edlund became
the first female to score points for the
Cardinals when she made both of her
point after attempts. WR Josh Eversman(4-93yds),
who had a 67yd TD catch broke the
all-time single season record of Bryce
Holm’s 12, with a 10 yarder from QB
Spencer Chirpich(8-9 150yds). Chirpich
also threw a 6yd & 28yd TDs to Jay Ruen
and Cole Emler. RBs Derek Edman and
Chris Fausch added 17 & 35yd rushing
scores to complete the first half
scoring. The Cards defense came up with
interceptions by Jack Waletich and
Eversman. Steven Krumholz, Ruen and
Emler had fumble recoveries. The Cards
2nd unit defense twice held the Eagles
from scoring on 4th and goals to
preserve the shut-out .
