288yds as the Eagles downed the Cards
28-14 in the first round of the State
Class 3AAA quarter-finals. The Eagles
led 14-0 before the Cards got on the
board via a 2 quarter Spencer Chirpich(17-29-2-172yds)
9yd pass to Josh Eversman(5-76yds). The
combination worked again in the third
quarter from 14yds out to tie the score
14-14. The wind, five Card turnovers and
two 3rd quarter TDs by Eagles RB Kane
Carstens ended the hopes of the Cards
advancing to the next round.
